 ...and this  is by far my favortie get-a-way from my home on the Island of Cozumel.  It is the perfect leg to any trip from Cozumel, or Playa Del Carmen.  Good fishing, snorkeling , bird watching or just taking in the beauty of the caribbean.  I had the beach all to myself  for four days and this is in the high season of tourism! There are not many places left like this on the coast. Incredible."

In my first hour there.....

 .... owners Don Mario and his wife Juanita told me of an eagle's nest 3 minutes  down the beach.  I thought they must be mistaking the local vultures for eagles but I honored them and took the walk along the clear blue caribe. To my astonishment I found these majestic birds and their nest.   After an hour of observing  I decided they were the most civil creatures on the planet...royalty in the animal kingdom.                     Renee
